Infinite Campus Parent Portal
Parents, if you have not already done so, please set up an Infinite Campus parent portal account (click here for directions). Parent Portal allows you to monitor your children's attendance and grades.  Click here to go to the Parent Portal, and be sure to download the free "Campus Parent" app for iPhone and Android in their respective app stores.

We ask that all parents (new and returning) please complete Annual Student Updates prior to the first day of school. This process allows parents to update contact information and sign school forms (such as the laptop checkout form) digitally. To get started, log into Parent Portal, click "More," then click "Annual Student Updates."

Students can access their grades, attendance, and unofficial transcript on Infinite Campus by logging into ClassLink and opening the Campus Student app.


Live Virtual Open House - Wed. Aug. 19th, 12-1:30pm
Alpha Academy will be hosting a live, virtual Open House on Wednesday, August 19th, from noon to 1:30pm.  Click here to go to the virtual Open House.  You will have an opportunity to meet with teachers in virtual classrooms using the Microsoft Teams app.

Parents should be able to participate on any PC, Mac, iOS, or Android device.  If you do not have the Teams app, then you can choose the "join on the web instead" option when going into virtual rooms.  The web option is compatible with the Edge, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari browsers.



Information for Families New to Rockdale County Public Schools
Rockdale County Public Schools is a one-to-one district, meaning that each child is issued a Dell 3190 laptop to complete schoolwork.  Click here for information on the laptop.  Click here for information on our one-to-one program in general.

There is a $10 Technology Fee assessed on each device, and this fee can be paid securely in Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  The Technology Fee covers the device in the event of accidental damage or theft.  If your laptop is ever stolen, please contact local police, obtain a police report, and make an appointment to submit the report to the school, and you may be issued a replacement device.

You may check out a laptop from 10am to 2pm beginning the week of August 17th.  Laptop check-out is by appointment only.  Click here to make an appointment online, or please call the school at 770.922.8636 to make an appointment.

How do I get technical support during virtual learning?
We have created libraries of self-help videos to assist parents and students.

Students, click here to access your support library. If prompted to log into your RCPS account, please do so and you should see the page.

If you continue to have issues, please follow these steps to get your issues resolved as efficiently as possible.

1. Please contact your teacher for help. Many issues tend to be more instructional than technical.

2. 
If your teacher is unable to help, you can contact the Alpha Technology Department:

) If your laptop is working but you are having issues accessing websites or apps, please contact one of our Digital Learning Specialists at jdyer@rockdale.k12.ga.us (high school) or sqpeters@rockdale.k12.ga.us (middle school).  If you are having severe issues, you can set up an online appointment to meet with a DLS for troubleshooting.  Click here for Mr. Dyer (high school) and click here for Ms. Peters (middle school).

) If your laptop is not working, will not connect to the Internet, or has physical defects or damage, please make an appointment to bring it in to the INTEL Office.   Click here to schedule an appointment, or call 770.922.8636, extension 30176 to call the INTEL Office.

3. If you have tried the above and you still have issues, please contact the RCPS Technology Department at helpdesk@rockdale.k12.ga.us or 770.860.4259.

For your own safety and the safety of school staff, please DO NOT report to Alpha or RCPS Central Office without making an appointment first.  You must wear a mask the entire time you are in the building!
